Dziś chciałm pokazać Wam modne w tym sezonie, welurowe botki z kwiatowym motywem marki Zaful. Totalne szaleństwo. Więc gdzie najlepiej je zaprezentować? Tylko w Paryżu!

Paryż, miasto świateł

Paryż nie bez powodu nazywany jest miastem świateł. Ville des Lumières. Słońce, chmury, niebo we wszystkich odcieniach, tworzą tutaj niesamowity spektakl. Do tego białe fasady kamienic, które odbijają promienie i wielkie bulwary, które dają miastu przestrzeń i oddech. Dzięki temu światło spada na nas ze wszystkich stron. Jednak nie można dać się zwieść pięknej pogodzie. Ciężkie, stalowe chmury to widok dość powszechny. Bo Paryż bez deszczu, to nie Paryż. Może on przybierać różne formy: ulwey, drobnego deszczu, mżawki. Towarzyszy mu mroźny wiatr i przenikający chłód. W takiej chwili nie warto walczyć z pogodą. Lepiej jest usiąść w małej kawiarence i obserwować przechodniów. A jest się czym inspirować – Paryżanie mają niesamowite wyczucie stylu!

Paryżanka

Jak na Paryżankę przystało, wybrałam prosty, klasyczny zestaw z odrobiną szaleństwa.

Dżinsy połączyłam z obszernym czarnym swetrem w serek, przeplatanym srebrną nitką. To mój ulubieniec na nadchodzący zimowy sezon. By dodać jeszcze odrobinę szaleństwa, wybrałam piękne, zamszowe buty z kwiatowym motywem ze sklepu Zaful. Są niezwykle lekkie i nawiązują do stylistyki lat 60-tych. Mają idealny obcas – na tyle wysoki, by wyszczuplić nogę i pozwolić poczuć się kobieco, a na tyle niski, by swobodnie się poruszać.

Wystawy

Będąc w Paryżu w ubiegłym miesiącu, miałam okazję zobaczyć dwie wystawy.

Pierwsza, to Irving Penn w Grand Palais. Skupiająca dzieła tego wybitnego fotografa, wystawa obejmowała cały okres jego twórczości, pokazując różne jej stadia. Jak ewoluował, czym się fascynował, jak działał. Szłam na nią z nastawieniem, że będzie o wiele więcej fotografii mody, bo Irving Penn znany jest ze swojej współpracy z Amerykańskim Vougiem. Lecz zdjęcia modowe to była zaledwie cząstka wszystkich prac. Dało mi to do zrozumienia, że nie należy tak łatwo szufladkować innych. Może się okazać, że mają oni o wiele więcej do zaoferowania, niż nam się wydaje.

Drugą wystawą była wystawa Christian Dior, COUTURIER DU REVE w Muzeum des Arts Décoratifs. Nie udało mi się kupić na nią biletu przez Internet i musiałam odczekać swoje dwie i pół godziny w kolejce – na szczęście miałam cudowne towarzystwo i czas bardzo szybko upłynął.

Tak, jak dobrze zorganizowany przepływ ludzi w Grand Palais pozwalał na skupienie się, analizowanie i wyciąganie wniosków czy czerpanie inspiracji z dzieł Penna, tak na wystawie Diora było to zupełnie niemożliwe. Nie pozwalała na to głównie liczba zwiedzających. Trzeba było praktycznie poruszać się w kolejce, w bardzo wąskich korytarzach. Zatrzymanie się, by przeczytać, pomyśleć, było bardzo utrudnione. Może gdybym była sama w całym muzeum, wystawa zrobiłaby na mnie duże wrażenie, jednak oglądanie czegokolwiek w takim tłumie jest niemożliwe. Najbardziej spektakularna była ostatnia sala, prezentująca suknie balowe przedstawione w bajkowej scenerii.

Obie wystawy można oglądać jeszcze do stycznia, polecam wcześniejsze kupienie biletów on-line na poranne godziny – nie tracimy naszego czasu w kolejkach.

Ostatnio na nowo odkrywam muzea i piękne, czasowe wystawy. Masz jakieś swoje ulubione?

Velvet shoes with a floral motif

Today I wanted to show you my velvet shoes with a flower motif from Zaful. Total madness. So where is the best place to present them? Only in Paris!

Paris, city of lights

Paris is for some reason called the city of lights. Ville des Lumières. The sun, clouds, sky in all shades create an amazing spectacle. What is more, the white facades of houses reflect the light and large boulevards give the city space and breath. Thanks to this the light falls on us from all sides. However, you can’t be fooled by the beautiful weather. Heavy, steel clouds are a fairly common sight. Because Paris without the rain, it’s not Paris. The rain is accompanied by a cold wind and a sharp chill. At this moment, it is not worth fighting with the weather. It is better to sit in a small and cozy cafe and watch passers-by. And it can be so inspiring – Parisians have an amazing sense of style!

As Parisians do, I chose a simple, classic outfit with a bit of madness.

I put my jeans together with a large black v-neck sweater, interwoven with a silver thread. This is my favorite for the upcoming winter season. To add a bit of madness, I chose beautiful, suede shoes with a floral motif from the Zaful store. They are extremely light and refer to the style of the 1960s. Exhibitions

As I was in Paris last month, I had the opportunity to see two exhibitions.

The first of these is Irving Penn at the Grand Palais. Focusing on the works of this outstanding photographer, the exhibition covered the entire period of his work, showing its various stages. How it evolved, what fascinated him, how it worked. I went there with the conviction that there will be a lot more of fashion photography because Irving Penn is known for his cooperation with American Vouge. But fashion photos were only a fraction of the big amount of photographies. It made me understand that you should not judge the others so easily. It may turn out that they have much more to offer than we think.

The second exhibition is Christian Dior, Couturier du Reve at the Museum of Decorative Arts. I could not buy a ticket online and I had to wait for two and a half hours in the queue – fortunately, I had a great company so the time run so fast!

Just how well organized the flow of people at the Grand Palais allowed to focus, analyze and draw conclusions or inspiration from Penn’s work, at the Dior exhibition it was completely impossible. This was not possible mainly by the number of visitors. You had to practically move in a queue, in very narrow corridors. Take a moment for reading or thinking was very difficult. Maybe if I was alone in the whole museum, the exhibition will make a big impression on me, but watching anything in such a crowd is impossible. The most spectacular was the last room that presented ball gowns presented in fabulous scenery.

Both exhibitions are open until January, I recommend buying tickets online for morning hours – we do not waste time in queues.
